Cancer Specific Guides

Breast Cancer Breast cancer is a malignant tumor that starts in the cells of the breast. A malignant tumor is a group of cancer cells that can grow into surrounding tissues or spread to other areas of the body. Affects mostly women, but can affect men, too.

Lung Cancer The two main types of lung cancer are non-small cell lung cancer (85% of lung cancers) and small cell lung cancer (10-15%). Lung cancer is the leading cause of death from cancer in the U.S. and the number of deaths from lung cancer in women is increasing.

Prostate Cancer Prostate cancer is a disease in which malignant (cancer) cells form in the tissues of the prostate. This guide provides links to resources on diagnosis, stages of cancer, and treatment options.
